One of the first true simulators.

Excellent handling and precision. Improving your lap times are a joy, and it is imperative you are high and the tyres not screeching, which means that you are pushing beyond the limits.

This game was in an age where very few PCs had soundcards, thus it is important to play it via RUNME (and return), or else type the following...

indy /ad (+ return)

Seems autosecurity prevent me put there filenames. But, Start game by using RUNME dot BAT, instead INDY dot EXE, to get realistic sounds.

Great game for its time. One of the first true PC racing simulations. Maybe the first. Made by Papyrus, which later came out with a whole host of great racing games. Handling/control was top notch, even back then. Only issue is you can only map the acceleration/brake to
keyboard or joystick/wheel buttons. Analog control is only available on the steering. If you have a G25 wheel, then you can use Logitech software to map the button to the acceleration/brake, however.

For a game of 1989, the graphics and sound were very, very good, even for PC speaker.

However, what truly set this game apart from other driving games is that this one is a true simulation - the settings you place upon your vehicle will determine how it handles, how fast it goes, acceleration etc.

Do not be fooled by its aged look. Like a fine wine, this game is still truly drinkable.

Very hard to win!
It is difficult but you can be 21 of 33 in a race of about 10 laps. To be first I think that in the corners you must be very enar the wall, with maxim PRM and do not hear the wheels screeching.
