Great game! I played it the first time after the announcement for Wasteland 2 was made.
Before that I was somewhat disgusted by the screenshots, but I was totally wrong. It is very nice to play. Good story!
Still, it totally reminded me of Fallout.

The absolute BEST RPG ever created, for any system. The story is immersive and the gameplay is incredibly addictive. It just draws you in - and doesn’t disappoint. A must have.

Probably the best RPG of its time, I spent many hours playing on my Commodore 64. I have played it again - twice - and it still is a great game. I wish someone would remake this game and stay true to the original.

I bought this game when it came out, and I still own the discs so I can legally download it once in a while. Me and my friends played this for hours and nights on end. Great character gen system, tons of inventory possibilities. I loved being able to hire any npc you could convince to join. Tons of different types of encounters. So many possibilities made this replayable even today. The only flaw this game had was 1 save, with autosave at every new location. I think I’ll download it now...

Im a huge fallout 1 and 2 fan........its brilliant to have a crack at the game that really spawned it all. Classic

best post-nuclear rpg game ever...better than the later daughter Fallout series! Some problems with starting characters, but you can create your own. Also, some issues as to which weapons take which ammo..., but that’s minor compared to the fun of playing this game!
