I remember reading about Fallout in a magazine as a teen and although it seemed kinda cool I didn't care to check it out. Years later, when Fallout 3 came out, I decided to give the original a try. It totally blew me away. Fallout 3 is a stellar game, but Fallout 1, and 2, are in a league of their own. The atmosphere, soundtrack, gfx, humor and unique design is highly addictive - raw and refined it takes your heart and never gives it back.

GOG has apparently abandoned it too. They don't sell it anymore.

The dark humour in this and Fallout 2 were simply fantastic. The "modern" Fallout 3 was good, but the originals were true greats. They just don’t make games like this any more.

My most favourite RPG ever ! graphics,sound,story,the whole sceanario and how it was presented to the player,tons of quests and subquests...i also enjoyed the sequels but this one is the best one !
