Metal Gear Solid is a game created by Konami in 2000 and is available for download.
Description
Absolutely one of the best tactical action games around.
Play Solid Snake who needs to infiltrate some Russian base. The game is shown from a 3d top down view. On a map you can see enemies who are nearby you and you can see their view of sight. Based on that, you can avoid to be seen and sneak your way in.
You can also change your view to a first person perspective to inspect stuff around you.
The game has a great atmosphere and really draws you in the game.
This is the full ISO game. So mount your cd install and play.
Enough talking, I'm going to play some more.

This is a Windows game. Sometimes it should be run on an older Windows version or at least a 32-bit Windows. You could use VMware player (free) and install an older Windows on a virtual machine. e.g. I have installed my old Windows XP 32bit on VMware. More info on that you can find over here.

best free game you can get. The story is just amazing, the music, the voice-acting.. Only downside is the gameplay that feels very retro-80s but it's just a matter of taste really. | |
